Our Dearest Tutors…

We cannot express our gratitude to each and every single one of you for the endless hours that you put into these children. Their lives are being changed daily because you are taking an interest in who they are, as a student and as a person. Your role in their lives is irreplaceable and the children are benefiting from you.

Because you play such a vital role in the lives of these kids, we are interested to hear about who has played a vital role in your life! Who has been a role model to you, academically, spiritually, socially and otherwise? Who has been the person that showed they cared about you and your well-being the way you so selflessly do to the children of Our Neighborhood Homework House?

As always, we are here to support you in anyway you need. Please do not hesitate to come to us with suggestions, questions or concerns. We appreciate all you do for us, and for Azusa’s most precious resource!

Hello wonderful tutors and welcome back to a new year at the Neighborhood Homework House! We are so excited to be working with all of you this year and can’t wait to see the impact that you are going to have on each student. We have created this blog as place for you to come and talk about the triumphs and challenges you may be facing as you set out on the adventure that is tutoring. We, as the Program Directors, are here to help you and give advice where it is needed, but most importantly, we want you to be able to give and get suggestions from other tutors! We want you ALL to share with each other exciting stories as well as tough times. We encourage you to be a support to other tutors if you have encountered something that works for you and your students. We want to hear from you because without you, we would not be here. We are so thankful for your commitment this year and we can’t wait to embark on this new adventure with you!
